About Kim
Hi, it’s nice to meet you! My name is Kim Andreas (formerly Taylor) and I am the owner/operator of Wild Rose Speech Therapy. I am a registered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with 9 years of experience. I received my Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Minot State University in 2015. Since graduation I have been working with preschool and school-aged children with a wide variety of communication disorders. My experience includes working in school, healthcare, and home settings.
I am passionate about helping my clients reach their full potential, empowering them to be successful communicators in all aspects of life. I believe that the best results can be achieved when parents and other family members are active participants in the speech-language therapy journey. Speech-language therapy should be fun and individualized to each child’s needs. I love all areas of speech-language pathology but I have a special interest in working with children with speech sound disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), expressive/receptive language disorders, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
I am a registered member of the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and I have received my Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. I would love to meet you and your family, and discuss a plan for helping your child improve their communication skills!
